There are only five S&W M&P15 rifles that are California compliant, these are >
M&P 15 CA complaint rifles < so what you got has got to be one of those - models 811062, 811039, 811040, 811038, 151009. However, the M&P 15T California compliant model is the 811039.
I didn't even know Dick's had the S&W M&P15 line, thought as close as they came was the Remington R-15 AR style varmint rifle? The M&P15 models don't appear on their web site do they? Our local Dick's here doesn't carry them.
