Eotech RDS (XPS2) with a Aimpoint 3X magnifier

Hello All,

Anyone using an Eotech RDS (XPS2) with a Aimpoint 3X magnifier with a quick Flip mount (Samson)? If so, do the Eotech RDS and the Aimpiont Magnifier line up well or are you using a riser for the Eotech? I have a Aimpoint 3x magnifier and want to get an Eotech RDS, the Aimpoint RDS are more than what I want to spend on a RDS.

Well I picked up an Eotech Exps2-2 and it works well with my Aimpoint 3X magnifier on a Samson quick flip mount. They lined up well and I did not need a riser for the RDS.

LaRue makes a tall flip mount for the Aimpoint magnifier which will line up with an Eotech sight. If you're not going swimming with your rifle, and considering its only .22LR (no recoil), there are cheaper 3x magnifiers too.

This may be a dumb question but does the dot from an RDS look bigger in a magnifier or does it stay the same size?

You can get the less expensive flip to side mount from Primary Arms, it should work fine for you but give them a call and ask to make sure.

The dot and the circle around the dot are larger with the magnifier.
