Proud to say my first AR is an M&P 15T
I have been on the lookout for an AR15 for a little over 2 years now and finally took the plunge and decided on the Tactical Model as my first stab at AR life.
I currently own 2 other M&P Handguns, the 40c for me and the 9c in lefty for the wifey.
Not to mention my Snub nose J Frame Model 431 I believe
Also have some other non S&W but I'll save those for another time

Looks like a fine rifle that will serve you well. Congrats and welcome to the M&P-15.

Fine rifle. I've had one for 3 years with thousands of rounds through it...never a malfunction.

Thank you Everyone! It's comforting to hear I didn't make a bad choice, not that I was worried, but ya know...
I was hoping to head out to the Ocala forrest this Saturday, but it's that or the Car Show I previously planned on entering...
Since the Pics I added the Magpul RSA and did a test fit of the Bipod, I'll take a Picture here soon!
Some things i'm still on the fence on... Maybe some of you could lend me your experience?
Which Flashlight and what mount ?
I have the Micro90 for my Handgun and it's a nice little light, but I think I can get something better for the AR, but looking at them online has been difficult and Gun Shop Selection locally is horrendous.
Also pretty torn on Sight, I think I want to hold out and save for the ACOG but I see a lot of people use the Eotechs, Anyone?

Everyone has their own opinion on lights, so I'm sure you'll get varying responses. I run a Surefire G2X on one of mine and a Gladius on the other. I've been happy with the GG&G offset light mount and have used those for years.
Sights are the same. I've been happy with the Aimpoint, ACOG and XPS EOTech offerings. Had an ACOG on my M&P, but recently swapped it out with the XPS 2-0 (went back to non-magnifying). All depends on what you want out of the sight. The ACOGs are pricey, and Trijicon only guarantees the life of the tritium to be 15 years, but of course the can replenish it if you send the sight back to them. I would look at the Aimpoint PRO if I were you. Best sight on the market for the money right now. The Aimpoints have outstanding battery life (to the tune of tens of thousands of hours), compared to the EOTech XPS line, which gives around 500-600 hours. I will say the the EOTechs are 'faster' in terms of target aquisition, due to the incorporation of the 65 MOA ring that surrounds the dot.
No worries on the gun. The M&P is a great rifle.

Congratulations to the happy couple
Don't fool yourself, you made her yours from the first moment you thought about it. All you did when you finally got her was pay the preacher for the ceremony
You will enjoy the rifle, have no doubts about that.
We use the EoTech 512 and prefer it over the Aimpoint's or other tubed type sights. There is also the Aimpoint Pro or other Aimpoint. If you want to go less expensive than an EoTech or Aimpoint and still get something decent quality, this one a lot have had good experiences with > Lucid HD7
