Just got the Raptor charging handle
I'm excited to try it out. So far I like it. Seems it will prove to be a good addition to my Sport. Anyone else have experience with this charging handle?

They are one of the best ambi charging handles I have used so far.

I have to say, so far it looks and feels promising. Not that I will be really stress testing it or anything. I honestly don't know when I'll get out shooting next but I will update with a range report when it happens.
It is real easy racking the bolt back with it, even though the BUIS I am using has a bulky windage knob, there is still plenty of ambi latch to grab a hold of. It looks/feels real sturdy and looks great on the rifle.

I've got one on my Sport. Really nice piece. I love it a lot!
It's actually featured in the latest call if duty video game as the futuristic M4 (m27 in the game) has one.

If charging handles get any fancier might as well give 'em to your wife instead of jewlery, then you will find out the true worth of that 'just gotta have' mall ninja charging handle

I fear it's too late for me.....I had no idea it was featured in a video game.

Neither did I. I bought it cuz I like to charge ejection port side.
Here's the vid game version. A little different.

Oh boy. Well, no regrets as of yet. I certainly didn't buy the handle because I saw it in a video game. I had no idea. There are limited options when it comes to an ambi charging handle. BCM doesn't have one as far as I know. The Badger Ordinance ones are in the same price range as the Raptor. I just really liked the Raptor design....

Well if something is functional and looks good, it would make sense that a top-selling game would take note. I mean, games have the scar, doesn't make it any less of a weapon. Sorry, just trying to talk myself into getting one without feeling "mall ninja" lol

I went to an aftermarket handle but not that large since they tend to snag/hang up on other equipment.

I don't have an ambi , but I do have a Vltor mod 3 and its works great, even as an ambi shooter.

There's nothing to it. Just pop out the rear take down pin. Pull the upper up and remove the bolt carrier group. Slide the charging handle out until it is almost out of the upper. The charging handle has a small tab on each side and it will line up with a cutout in the charging handle rail inside the upper and then it will drop out. Just reverse the steps for installation of any charging handle.

I have gone to oversized handles and havent had a problem with the hanging up so I guess it must be how you use your rifle.
