Thermold N.C. mags work perfect in MP15
This are the one's made in N.C. They have been 100%reliable and trouble free and work as good as the Mag-pul's in my rifle and few other fellow's rifles. Hold open feed and fit are great. These are strong made Zytel polymere . One strong solid magazine. 1000,s rd's fired not one missfeed or stoppage in 4 SW rifles.

thermold
I am also running quite a few of these mags myself and can concur that they are rock solid performance. My local shop was running a special on them so I ended up purchasing 10 of them for around $45 out the door over weekend... Went back for more as I use them for my range time and also SHTF scenarios and to my expectation were completely out after having approx. 6 pallet loads

I have a bunch of their 20's, I sold the 30's that I had but never had a problem with either. right now I have 1 pmag and a bunch of tangodowns, usgi's and thermolds and have no problems with any of them. and for the price you cannot beat a thermold 20 round mag

Got my 3 pack of Thermolds from Sportsman's Guide, have not tested them yet, but do notice that the front of the follower tits if pressed unlike Pmags the whole follower will go down if pressed down. Does the Thermolds have an anti-tilt follower? From what it sound like from members here, there should not be a problem.

so far so great
I have nine on the Thermold 30 rounders purchased from Sportsmans Guide. They DO NOT have anti tilt followers. I have purchased Magpul gen 3 followers and with a little bit of sanding have installed them into the magazines.
A big world of difference. Much smoother feeding, no binding, works great. It did cut the magazine capacity to 28 rounds, but will the tradeoff in reliability (IMHO) it was worth it.
With PMAG prices soaring now, they look better and better

I have a bunch of Thermold stuff, and they almost all misfeed. I think of the 10 or so we have, 2 of them will feed a full run without jimmying or tinkering with them.
It's absolutely no contest between a Pmag or GI mag vs a Thermold.
For whatever reason, a lot of the FAL guys swear by them. I just swear AT them. Maybe their latest gear is better. But all I know is, stuff from 2009 to 2011 was pure junk. Not one rifle will work properly with the ones we have issues with. FWIW, they all worked fine for the first few load outs. But no more.

because I was for warned about the Thermold 30's having issues when an offer came to sell them I did. I have used the 20's so many times that I can say without a single problem. I can get the TangoDown Mags cheaper than a PMag and for a 30 round mag, unless you load 31 in them there is absolutely no problem. I have quite a few of them and even more USGI 30's with the upgraded follower and they work great. I really like my ASC 10's I just wish they werent so pricey...

Back in my active 3 gun competition days I fired many thousand rounds thru various Thermold 30s with absolutely no issues. I remember one mag that I literally wore out... IMHO they are GTG.

The only issue I've had with any Thermold magazine is when empty they don't reliably operate the bolt stop. Feed has yet to be an issue.

The Thermold 20s I've used have worked great, but then again I've never had a problem with any mag in my Sport.

I've had a few. Sold 'em for a nice profit during the last ban-panic.
A few had hard seating in both Colt and Bushmaster.

Able to get out and test the Thermolds that I got from Sportsman's Guide with my SW MP 15 Sport and am relieved to report that they worked great, some loaded with 10, 5 and all cycled and held the bolt back after last shot. I prefer the Magpul Pmags, but at $17.99 for 3, I could not complain.
