I am cross posting my question from the M&P 15-22 Forum here looking for similar experience from the loud .22 crowd.

As shooting distances move beyond "rock throwing" distances things like Bullet Drop and Range start to play bigger and bigger role in accuracy. You have to have accurate ranging and good bullet "dope". Both of these scopes laser range to the target and supply drop compensation.

I am finishing up a .204 Ruger Heavy Barrel Upper for my M&P 15T and trying to decide on what kind of glass to hang on top of it. Has anyone had any first hand experience with either the Nikon or Burris scope.

I have a Burris AR 332 so I can speak on it and, while it is only a 3x, it is a very good optic. I have friends who have Nikon's and they just as happy. I doubt that in the long run, There is a hole lot of diff between them.
