saw a guy doing the paperwork for one yesterday at my local WW outside of Seattle...he didn't want the clerk to put it away...don't know what he paid for it

Agree, that isn't the price for a Sport. Has to be one of the 15-22 flavors.

I've seen 15-22 all the time at Walmart and for that price point I too believe it was a 15-22.

Did it have a plain barrel?

Every 15-22 I seen at Walmart had the ugly plain barrel plain, not the standard version with the threaded barrel with A1-Style Compensator standard

Well it was a 15/22 as they got some in a few weeks back, so it was not the 15 Sport.

Best price I have found recently was $629.99 + TAX, and 3% for plastic at a gun show.

Got to wait for my tax refund now, as I am broke until than...

Saw the sport on Slickguns than came across the OR for 699. Paid 640 for my sport way back when so I thought this was a decent deal since they're listed at $1069 on S&W website. As I posted in another thread Grabagun.com has Sports for $579 + $5.99 ship =$585 no credit card fees.. cheapest price I`ve seen...I had to get one waiting for it now

That's where I got mine, but I had to pay state sales tax - 8.25% - and the $25 FFL fee.
