Hi all,
Just got my newest M&P. Pretty excited about it!
Anyway my wife shoots left handed so I am looking for a brass deflector for this weapon. Does anyone know of one, or have another solution?

Thanks
Mike

Is she having problems with brass bopping her in the face? Can she adjust the stock back a little if she is or is it too much length of pull for her?

The brass catcher noted above seems to be the best solution if she can't.

I'm left handed. I've had 7 AR's with the built in deflector. Never got hit with a case. As a side note. You can cut 4 coils off of the ejector spring (easy) and they will eject about 3 feet at 2 o'clock. Works for M1's and M1A's also

Thank you all for the replies and the suggestions. I really appreciate them all.
No, she hasn't shot it yet, and I wasn't aware of the built in deflector.
We will see!
Thanks again.

Hanging a brass catcher bag in your face?

Ya know... AR15s are sold for lefties. Stag and RRA both do. You can buy complete lefty uppers or a lefty upper and bolt carrier group.

I'm right handed but regularly practice shooting lefty and so far never been hit by an ejected case. My AR kicks them out at about 3 o'clock. If I were a full time lefty the only change I would make is an ambidextrous safety which I'm considering adding to mine anyway.

Back when the M-16's first came out we would make sure the top button on our fatigues (shirt) was buttoned. Some got creative and taped a small block of wood just behind the ejection port.

I am a lefty, or used to be, and brass striking me was never a concern.
It`s cool that your wife shoots too! I would gift her with her very own rifle.
Jim
