M&P-15 tactical, vortex strikefire II, what iron sights will work with this?

I just recently got my S&W M&P-15 and also got the vortex strikefire II red/green dot scope and was wanting some back up flip up iron sights to go with it. I was wondering if anyone else out there has the VS II and flip up iron sights with it, if so what kind?

I have the Strike Fire II on my Ruger AR556, front sight post and rear flip up, works great.
 
You want same plane sights. Standard hieght which are what most all are. Just don't get something like the Troy Micro low profile which aren't designed for an AR platform.
 
Thanks. I think I am going to go with the MagPul MBUS front and rear flip up sights... Im also toying around with the idea of getting a magnifier for my red dot scope. What do you guys think of that, and have any good brands for them?

If you want magnification, you would probably be better off with a scope vs. a red dot / magnifier kludge.

You mentioned M&P Tactical in your title of the thread. As far as I know that model COMES with MagPul MBUS front and rear flip up sights. At least the two that I have did and they work well, both alone and with my Bushnell TRS-25. Did you mean you were contemplating just using the stock sights that came with the 15T?

Just curious
