29aholic,
Love your AR. What scope mounts are you using and do you have any issues with the front site?
Thanks!

That pad only fits Magpul stocks. Of Magpul's stocks I think it fits the CTR, MOE, ACR, and UBR products. My stock is a Magpul CTR. It's lightweight, offers several sling mounting points (including ambidextrous quick disconnect swivel sockets), and a friction lock that keeps the stock held firmly in place at each position.

Heres my donation to the page.....M&P15T. I got it new in April and sent in for the free mags and the rebate program website has just shown they received my request so still waiting on the rest of the Pmags. Ive got about 200 rounds thru it and it has been flawless! The BCM charging handle and BAD lever are AMAZING! Releaves the awkward attempt of taking your hand off the trigger to lock the bolt back. The Leupold scope I chose over the Eotech due to clarity. Eotech is too grainy at night and not the pinpoint design I'm looking for in the 35-50yrd range. I would of liked a ACOG for distance or something with some magnification but don't like the price tag!
If your looking for an inexpensive bag, I would recommend the Condor bag, comes with 3 Molle Pouches (2 double mags and 1 larger , which is great for tools) and 2 divided storage sections. The rifle fits excellent in the primary section and a laptop and other pistols fit in the secondary section. Very versatile bag and well constructed.
Current Mods/Extras
• Leupold 1x14 Tactical Prismatic Rifle Scope w/ Illuminated Red Circle Plex Reticle
• KNS A2 .034 Round/Ball Tip Front Sight Post
• Carbine Stock Buttpad
• ProMag Single Point Sling Attachment Plate
• MagPul Alluminum Enhanced Trigger Guard
• Magpul B. A. D. Lever
• BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle Mod 4
• Condor Black CBT 2 to 1 point Bungee Sling
• Condor 36” Black Tactical Rifle Bag w/ Molle
• Falcon Rubber Ergo Grip w/ Storage
• FAB Tactical T-Grip w/ Storage and 1” flashlight adapter with trigger activation
• LEDLenser Tactical Flashlight – 98 Lumens Output
• 1 - MAGPUL PMAG-20 w/ Hornady TAP rds
• 6 - MAGPUL PMAG-30
• SightMark Accudot Laser Bore Sight - 223 Remington
• 5.11 Bail out Bag
Also in the pics are Keltec P3AT, Glock 22 w/XTI Prycon, S&W Airlite 360PD
if you look close you can see the black sights which are eteched into the glass for daylight or if the batteries die. Hard to see with a camera but are very visible even in the dark when back lit by the flashlight.
The only things left on my want list are a bipod for target practice, spikes buffer, and a detachable sling adapter to replace the 550 para cord. (But for the money the para cord works fine!)

Pics of my special edition M&P15X
My department recently approved patrol rifles and Smith & Wesson was very gracious to make us a special run of M&P15X models. Enjoy.

Updated my rails.
Updated with an Omega 7" free float rail. I like the thin rectanlular width and sturdieness more than my old M.I. 2pc rails. Gonna wrap it in Surefire Lowpro ladder rails, tried some Magpul XTM panels but could only get 3 on each rail due to the QR holes.

It's been a long time since I have posted on these forums. Good to be back.
My new M&P 15TS:
The only additions I have made are the MOE VFG and a BCM Gunfighter (medium latch) charing handle. I have put 1000 rounds of various brands and weights thru it so far and it's been 100%.

M&P15 FT
I bought mine last May and have not shot it as of yet. I sold
two pistols and a few rifles that was all used and old that I
was not using anymore and got the S+W. I then sold a 75
gallon bowfront fishtank and then a Meade ETX90 telescope
in order to get the Optics Systems. Every single item that
I have purchased for this is MADE IN THE USA and I am
very proud of that. I am in search of an American Made
Green Laser, and then the build will be complete.
I did not like the plain end with nothing on it so I bought a FCS556 and had it installed in Ma.

Hello Armaliter,
I got a really great deal on the Surefire M951 XM07 Kit 002
and as soon as I received it bought a mod to upgrade it
from incandescent to LED using a Malkoff M-61 drop in. Now my brightness is 260 lumens and running time is hours instead of one hour using the original bulb.
The Surefire Z2-S has strobe and is only 160 lumens, and is nice to have as a backup in case something goes wrong with
my other Surefire.
I have been searching for an American made Green laser as
well and am starting to look at kits to build it myself instead
of buying ones from lasermax or Virdian or laserlyte.

Just your stock M&P15OR. Had an extra red-dot and laser sitting around and through it on there. New optics will be ordered soon. Possibly some fixed sights also. But other than sights, I'll probably leave the rifle stock. I actually prefer the A1 vietnam era type stock more than the T-6 style stock. But, for the price of the M&P15OR, (Normal price was $949, Xmas 3 day sale down to $749, S&W gave me military/police appreciation rebate: Final price: $649); I really couldn't turn it down. Anyway, here's my stock M&P15OR. I still like it.

The top rails come with the Burris PEPR mount. MidwayUSA has them on sale for $69.99. The Burrris scope is $299.99 at Midway. Had the FastFire in the parts box. I bought the OR from BudsPoliceSupply last October when they had them @ $650 ($550 after rebate). Thanks for the compliment. I really like this rife.

$$550 for an OR M&P15 - that's a fantastic price! Great looking carbine BTW!

Oh and here's a close up of my favorite upgrade... Lol
If anyone is interested in getting one let me know. You have to order it off the "secret menu" from a site most of you probably already know.

Here's my M&P family. I built the AR. It turned out really nice, and went through many change's. But I'm sure you all know what that's like. Unfortunately I had to sell it. I am seriously thinking about building another one though.

OR model with Nikon M-223 1-4X20 "Point Blank" reticle.
Replaced my Vortex red/green Strikefire because it was weak in bright sunlight. Fine early or late afternoon but difficult to see in bright light. The red only model is said to be better.
Anyway, love this optic , beautiful glass and very smooth operation.
