Any recommendations on a holster for the sigma 9mm (best concealment)?
How do you normally store your semi?

Concealment? Depends on your build and what your comfortable wearing. I for one when I had to carry undercover preferred a shoulder holster. I'll probably open a can of worms here , but that's ok. A lot of it is the type of clothes you normally wear. A wise old police chief once told me, " You might be in the state of excitement, but for the most part the untrained eye will never notice".

As far as storage goes, I have no children, so I keep it cleaned and loaded on the premise that no one ever got shot accidentally by "I didn't know the gun was loaded" syndrome. I'll probably open another can of worms here, but that's ok, too. ( I use my pistol for home defense, so I can't see bumbling around in the middle of the night loading it)

I have a Kholster holster for both of my Sigma's. It is very comfortable and offers great concealment. It comes without a combat cut that is really needed but cutting it yourself will not void the warrenty.

I like the Kholster too. Mine was made for my Sigs, but with a bit of work with a hairdryer it works for the Sigma. However, now that it's getting colder in Atlanta, I usually OWB with a paddle or use one of my "carry" jackets. BladeTech makes a nice polymer paddle and Galco has a good leather one.

I use a Fobus HK1, but i also went through about a 1/2 doz before sticking with that one. It is what you are comfortable with and works best for you.

I have a sideguard iwb double snap, and it fits my 9VE perfectly. Very comfortable holster for me.

Most of my sidearms are in Kramer MSP, #3 IWB, or Milt Sparks VM2...a few DeSantis and Don Humes in the mix as well. So much of it depends on what it is that you are trying to do...as mentioned your build, your comfort level etc.
Sort of like buying a pair of comfortable shoes. If you have a size 9 foot it matters not how good the quality of the shoe is if it is for a size 7 or a size 11...fit is not good.

I'm planning on getting a Sigma SW40VE, and when I do I'll get a Kholster for it. I love the Comp-Tac MTAC, but they don't make it for the Sigma, only the M&P. I've had a couple of Kholsters and for the price you can't beat them.

I HATE using IWB holsters so the only two holsters that I have for it is a blackhawk level 2 holster which I love and a Fobus holster with no thumb strap to it for CC only. I don't like my Fobus too much because I don't like the Cant on it. Also I had to shave part of my blackhawk holster since I'm left handed and the holster kept on hitting my mag button.

The HK1 is a good holster despite the constant bashing it gets. Easy in, easy out, safe, and a great price. You can't go wrong with a fobus!

If you plan to carry outside on your belt -

I like the Blackhawk Serpa Concealment series.

http://www.blackhawk.com/catalog/SERPA-Concealment,1410.htm

They come with several configeration adjustments:

1. Belt loop mount
2. Paddle mount
3. 3 different slant adjustments - FBI / straight up & down / cross draw.

Very light and they have a trigger lock so that they will not come out accidently.

I don't see any specifically listed for the Sigma. I won't carry a handgun in a kydex-type holster just because it "seems to fit". If I ever had a serious mishap with it, the first thing the manufacturer would say is:
"That holster is not designed for that model firearm." Just my opnion.

I own one and carry my Sigma in it.

It is injection molded carbon fiber and not kydex.

I called Blackhawk's 1/800 number and they told me the item number and said it was listed under "S&W m&p 9/40"

• SERPA Lvl 2 CF Holster - BK - S&W M&P 9 / 40
• 410525BK-R $39.00 from Tactical solutions. This is the right handed model number - L (instead of R) for left handed model.

Here's the cheapest website I found that carried left handed (for me) .. you might find it for less elsewhere.

Blackhawk SERPA Level 2 - Matte Finish

I hope this helps - it's a great carry rig.

I dont have a 9mm sigma, but I do have a sigma 40, I use the blackhawk serpa holster made for the glock 21 and m&p45 and it fits just like it was made for it.

fobus here... my brother has the blackhawk and althought it does sit the gun "higher" up, it also sticks "out" more...up to you what you feel comfortable with.

I love my fobus, the more i wear it, the more i love it, just wish i had longer jackets to cover it better ;)

Best 9mm Sigma holster

I just bought a Blackhawk Serpa for my 9mm M&P Compact and the factory label on the packaging lists both the M&P and the Sigma. I haven't tried it yet but from that I would assume it fits.

I have the Folbus HK1BH holster for my SW9VE and it fits great, easy access and hold my firearm securely. Conceals well when dressed in suit or sportscoat. Quality built and what about that warranty... dosn't get any better than that.
