here is something I posted a while ago
As all old tall tales go, a long time ago there was a man who wanted a 300 win mag when he was made an offer on a 330 Dakota, now let me tell you this offer could not be turned down so the deal was made. The more contact the buyer had with the seller, the buyer realized this man know just about everyone in the firearms industries, it turns out that the seller was a retired machine salesman and sold milling machine to people in the optics, and gun manufacture along with a few bullet smiths. The gun was everything it was promised to be.
A while later when the buyer was looking for a holster, the seller of the last transaction said" Don't waste your time or money on anything other than the Milt Sparks VMII buy once, cry once, the cheap stuff will get you killed" so the man wanting a holster took the advice from the guy who really did seem to know a lot about firearms and he did after all carry his Kimber Carry II in one every day, so the man wanting a holster bought a Milt sparks VMII for his M&P 40 compact and has been a very happy man. Comfort and easy on off were absolutely amazing with the Milt Sparks holster.
Next chapter: the man who bought the 330 Dakota and the Milt sparks holster buys a M&P shield and needs a holster, so he buys a Galco King Tuk, first thing to do is cut the extra leather that hits your thumb when drawing making for a rather ruff draw (I like smooth) they call it a combat cut and it cost extra so he did it himself. Next he wears it for a few days to give it a chance. Easy on and off he don't think so, comfortable?, not like the Milt Sparks. The 40 compact is easier to conceal and more comfortable to carry in the Milt Sparks, then the shield in the king tuk. So a milt Sparks VMII was order for the shield.
Moral of the story If you know something works for you stick with it, don't cheap out. Cry over the long wait and the big price once, then love it for life.
