Holsters

if you are thinking about kydex, I did not notice these 2 companies on your list....custom carry concepts and zorn holsters. Both are small companies that make unbel kydex holsters. Hope that helps.

You left out my favorite.....BIANCHI !
All of my favorites holsters , and I've been buying and trying holsters since 1968 , are made by Bianchi. Didn't mean for it to happen , it just worked out that way.
I'm even getting a new Bianchi for an old three screw Ruger Blackhawk for Christmas.

My wife likes shoes, I like holsters! We are all different in our comfort level. Go to gun shows and try them out or you'll have a drawer full looking for something better.

My personal choice is the Bianchi Suppression. It is made along the same lines as crossbreed and alien gear, but the molding for the gun is stiff leather and not kydex and the backing has an antimicrobial mesh on the side that rests against the body. These holsters are incredibly comfortable.

here is something I posted a while ago
As all old tall tales go, a long time ago there was a man who wanted a 300 win mag when he was made an offer on a 330 Dakota, now let me tell you this offer could not be turned down so the deal was made. The more contact the buyer had with the seller, the buyer realized this man know just about everyone in the firearms industries, it turns out that the seller was a retired machine salesman and sold milling machine to people in the optics, and gun manufacture along with a few bullet smiths. The gun was everything it was promised to be.
A while later when the buyer was looking for a holster, the seller of the last transaction said" Don't waste your time or money on anything other than the Milt Sparks VMII buy once, cry once, the cheap stuff will get you killed" so the man wanting a holster took the advice from the guy who really did seem to know a lot about firearms and he did after all carry his Kimber Carry II in one every day, so the man wanting a holster bought a Milt sparks VMII for his M&P 40 compact and has been a very happy man. Comfort and easy on off were absolutely amazing with the Milt Sparks holster.
Next chapter: the man who bought the 330 Dakota and the Milt sparks holster buys a M&P shield and needs a holster, so he buys a Galco King Tuk, first thing to do is cut the extra leather that hits your thumb when drawing making for a rather ruff draw (I like smooth) they call it a combat cut and it cost extra so he did it himself. Next he wears it for a few days to give it a chance. Easy on and off he don't think so, comfortable?, not like the Milt Sparks. The 40 compact is easier to conceal and more comfortable to carry in the Milt Sparks, then the shield in the king tuk. So a milt Sparks VMII was order for the shield.
Moral of the story If you know something works for you stick with it, don't cheap out. Cry over the long wait and the big price once, then love it for life.

Putting this list together has been exhausting. LOL

Thanks for the input.

THEIS Holsters

My personal choice is the leather/kydex hybrid: Holsters The style is not for everyone, but for me it distributes the weight better. I carry his Compact Outside the Waist (3913) using a 5.11 canvas belt. He has a two week trial period, no like, send it back for a refund. He also responds quickly to email questions.

I am new to IWB carry. Frankly, I do not understand why anyone would buy a holster that allows the butt of the gun to make contact with your skin and even worse the rear of the slide doing the same. Why not just store the gun overnight in a bowl of salt water 3 inches deep with the barrel pointed up? And, no, we don't wear sissy undershirts here in Florida. LOL

Stingray

If you plan on carrying iwb, I would recommend checking out Clinger holsters. I have the stingray for my Shield and really like it.
The Stingray looks like what I'm after, And the price is right. How does it feel after a long day of IWB use?
