SD9 holsters (glock 19)
Picked up a new gun yesterday. SD9!!!!!!!!!
I have seen post that say the SD9 fit in a Glock 19 holster. I though I would go to the experts here at the S&W forum and ask.
I am esp. interested to know if the SD9 will fit in a Galco IWB (suede) will fit?
Thanks and if you have any holster suggestions, let they rip

I am carrying my SD in a SKYOPS from Galco made for the XD. It is an IWB holster. I suggest you go to the story and try the gun in the holster before buying to insure that it fits.

I got a cheap leather (33 bucks) at a local gun shop, took the SD with me and tried different ones til I found one it would get in to. Turns out I picked one that fit an M&P or maybe an M&Pc and it was a tight fit. I stretched it with the wet plastic bag trick overnight, then another night, now it sits very well in there. Also got a holster made- the CB-ST knockoff- form Clevelands Holsters, but I'm not sure he has the mold anymore.

After trying numerous holsters I decided to make one. Then made a bunch of them because none really did what I wanted. The last one is just about my idea of perfect for me. I have another planned just in case it's better. It's fun and easy. All leather is a little tough to hand sew but Kydex is simply easy to work with. The last one is a leather / kydex hybrid. Like a mini Crossbreed but OWB low ride. The next will be the same design but all kydex. Replacing the 12 oz. leather with .71 kydex will make it about 3/16" thinner and can be molded to fit my flabby body.

I found a DeSantis speed scabbard on clearance shortly after I bought my first SD9 (one of the all black ones). Very nice OWB concealment rig. It's is made for the SD9.

I tried several M&P, Sigma and Glock holsters for my SD9. After being thoroughly less-then-thrilled with any of them I ended up just having a kydex holster custom made. I have not found anything on the market other than DeSantis that actually makes a legitimate SD9 holster and I am not a huge fan of DeSantis.
