To my surprise, my local Dick's Sporting Goods is overflowing with .40 S&W ammo! Ok, not overflowing... but there is a full shelf of American Eagle (165gr and 180gr) and a full shelf of Ultramax 200rd value packs. The Ultramax was very tempting at $65 for 200rds... so I told him to give me a box. While waiting in line to pay, I did a quick google search on my phone to check out some reviews... and they were pretty much all over the place. One thing I read serveral times was how dirty they were... although one guy mentioned a round blowing up in his gun. I ended up going back and getting 3 boxes of American Eagle until I consult you guys about the Ultramax! What do you think... is the cheap cost worth it for these all lead professional reloads?
