S&W 1911DK: any owners out there?

Anybody have a 1911DK? If so, I was wondering what your opinion of it was. Is it a finicky feeder? Specifically if anyone has shot many HP rounds through theirs. My dept. issues Speer Gold Dot for carry, and uses Blazer 230 FMJ for practice.

I only fired the Winchester 100Value pack from Walmart. Nothing negative. No issues.

Has shot whatever was put in it, but so did my Colt Officers model. I split a box of the Blazer between them last week and had no issues. Other than that I shoot the Winchester 100Value pack from Walmart.

Mine has seen 5000 plus rounds of Remington UMC, then I began reloading. I haven't had any issues with it using lead, hollowpoints, or semi-wadcutters. My biggest complaint is that it throws the brass 30 feet or more, currently running an 18lb recoil spring. And that some parts are plum colored.

I have zero issues with my rolled ammo in LSWC and Berry bullets.

Have not shot your ammo though.

The gun to me is excellent, good sights, trigger, accuracy and finish. I like it a lot!
