Accessories for SW99
Just picked up a SW99 with one 12rd mag and one 16rd mag. Looking for another 16rounder and any other accessories that are available for customizing. Any ideas?

There are not many standard accessories for the SW99. You maybe able to find a threaded barrel from the P99 and the various lights and lasers for the tactical rail.

Have you shot it yet? It's one of my favorite 9mm(or did you get a .40?). Yeah you can find some generic stuff but not much to really customize it.

I have P99s in 40 & 9mm, and the SW99 in 45. Like them all very much, there is not a lot of aftermarket stuff for them, but you don't need much! They come with all that is necessary to fit the gun to your hand properly and ditto with the sights. About the only option you need to think about is what to hang (if anything) on the rail, or maybe night sights. Because of the way they were built there will never be a market for toys as with the 1911 platform, that does not mean the way they were built has anything wrong with it, it means that they were built to cover most eventualities right out of the box.
If I had to choose just one handgun to have, it would be the P99 in 9mm or the BHP 9mm.

Yeah, it is a .40. Havent had the chance to shoot it yet, but really looking forward to it. I had to order the backstraps from S&W because it only came with the large one.

I just joined the forum and, even though your message is a little dated, I have some SW99 hi-cap mags, Blade-tech holster, and Blade-tech mag pouches I'd like to sell. Interested? I'll make you a screamin' deal!

Hello from SE Michigan. Ihave a lot of kin down your way with the last name McCown. I got my SW99 about 5 months ago and it has been great. The more that shoot it the more I like it. I did replace the plastic guiderod ( the old one was flying apart ) with a stainless steel guide rod made by Steve Bedair there in TX.
