Differences between 4546 and 4586?

4586 I got, 4546 wondering about. I am familiar with 5946 and 4046. All I have found, in a short time looking for info, on the 4586 is that it is almost the same as other 45xx pistols. I would like more info on how they differ. Thanks.

4546 has a full length slide like the 4506, the 4586 (as you know) is commander length like the 4566.

There is also a difference in availability. The 4586 was made for about 9 years, with thousands of them floating around. There were only about 500 of the 4546 made, around 1991.
