Magazine interchangeability

I have several S&W 5900 series guns and have since learned that these magazines also fit my Daewoo DP-51 9mm. A friend of mine has the Daewoo DP-40 without a magazine. Anyone know if a Smith double stack 40 like a 4006 will fit the Daewoo?

I kinda wondered that too. How far does a Smith mag stick out of the -51? The -51 is either a 13 or 14 rd, right?

5900 series magazines protrude about an eighth of an inch so it is not a bothersome sort of thing for me and 5900 series magazines are readily available. Just trying to help a friend out on his dh40 Daewoo....no magazine no shoot....he lives 240 miles from me so it is not easy to just go try a 4006 mag in it, although I might just send one to him to try anyway.
