Default 1006 trigger

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A 1006. THE D/A TRIGGER PULL IS FINE BUT THE S/A ISNT AS SMOOTH. JUST BEFORE RELEASE OF THE HAMMER I FEEL A SLIGHT METALAK SENSATION IN THE TRIGGER. IS THIS NORMAL? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ASSISTANCE.

This is a really good question. I am not familiar with 3rd Gen pistols but maybe can help clarify the question...

I think what is being referred to is after releasing the trigger there is a slight click for the reset. However, if you continue to release there is a definite lag/sticking and a second much more distinct click.

What is this second click and why would it be sticking before engaging?

Ok, this would appear to be one of those things that you can search for, assuming you know what to search for. The key would be "trigger play spring":

OH Dear 5906 trigger play spring
