Well after just about a month of waiting I got the call that the gun was in. I went right after work and picked it up today. I took it home, fondled it for a while, took it apart and looked it over. It's an EAK4XXX serial number and everything seems to be ok. I really like the way it feels and all the functions seem to work as they should. I am not seeing any of the problems that I have been reading about. The laser buttons seem fine the trigger pull is on the long side but, I don't think it's that big of a deal.
After dinner I went to the range to try it out.
I had picked up a second magazine so I tried one with the finger grip & the other with the flat base. I had no issues with the flat base so I now have them both set up that way. The first 12 rounds using the iron sights were dead on target. I was using cheap ball ammo. I then tried the laser and they all grouped very goood but were low. I forgot the tool that comes with the gun at home so I wasn't able to adjust it. I fired off a box (50) with out any problems.
I am going to go back to the range tomorrow and get everything adjusted. I also want to shoot some carry roounds Federal 90 gr. Hydra-shok JHP's just to check POI.
