Question
This is the first post I have ever put in this particular forum in over 10 years-(Semi-autos) so take it easy on me. Does Smith make-or did they ever make a semi-auto with a decocking lever?

Yes the 1076 and 1026 10mm 3rd generation pistols did have the frame mounted decocker.
The 1006 and 1066. 4506, 4566, 4006 and several others have the slide mounted decocker/safety

Yes, the 4536 exists but the production figures must be very small, I've only seen one in 10 years.

Some of the traditional safety/decockers were rendered decockers only that would return the decocker up into the fire position when decocked. It is my understanding that S&W used to do this conversion but no longer has the parts to do so. I have a 3906 so converted.

Hey D,
I've posted this before, some time ago.
Does this make two?
4556, 4546, 4536, 4526 How many were made?
I can say that it looks to be at least 90 or so based on the serial number from this one posted by forum member "ILLWIND" compared to mine.
