I am purchasing a Shorty 45 and I am looking for an IWB leather holster to fit it. Should I look at the 4513 or the 4516 models?
Also, what mfg's still make these holsters?
Thanking you all in advance for your input.

I've found most holsters for Glock 23's and Sig 229's to work very well with my 4513's and 4516-3.

Don Hume and Galco......Safariland too...I think, make 4513TSW specific holsters as well. hope this helps! :) Regards 18DAI

FIST makes some nice S45 holsters. Kramer also makes shorty holsters. Many 4516 holsters fit the Shorty 45 fine. I did also notice Sig 229 leather fits the Shorty 45 as well

Tim Thurner of TT Gunleather made me an incredible IWB for my 4014.

A friend who owns several high end 1911's and has had Sparks and other top holsters told me about TT Gunleather. I'd highly recommend talking to Tim.

For a custom IWB of the caliber of a Sparks or Rosen holster, the turn around time and cost were also amazing and I would highly recommend TT Gunleather.

The black holster with the 5906 is a Galco (cop model) and the black and brown one with the 4014 is the TT Gunleather one.

I've been wearing the TT holster everyday for about a 8 months and it still looks brand new, holds the gun incredibly tight but lets it come out smoothly and quickly. Almost no break in time was needed, and the gun slid in day one like butter. I cant recommend these enough.

I am in no way connected with TT Gunleather in Montana- except that my first name is also Tim! (but from Ohio)

Thanks for the reply's regarding holsters for my Shorty 45. I really do appreciate everyones help on this.

You will find that the 40 F designation which is also for the SW Sigma series works quite often.. I have a Bianchi shoulder holster in 40 F and works with the Sigma AND 4513 and Shorty 45..
a Don Hume 40 F JIT Slide Holster works well . Holds close to the body. Also a Don Hume H710 No. 37 works as well.
A Fobus SP 11 B for Springfield XD-H&K P-200 Fits great on a Shorty 45.
Galco makes a holster Matrix5x-M5x466 Believe its for the Hi-Point Works too.
Check out Kholster.com as their Sigma .40ve with Crimson laser package works too.
I have an El Paso Saddlery holster made for 4513 works great IWB or OWB
The Fobus wears all day the best.
Good luck.

Ah one more to try,

Check on the LOW RIDER.. I use it most often as it fits anything is 25.00, and holds gun close in plus if OWB it only shows black material not looking like a gun holster.
the big thing for me is I can place it ANY where and in ANY FASHION on the body while wearing it. OWB IWB in front, in back, on the side, EVEN up around the chest as a shoulder holster at times when situation calls for that..
Which is what makes this holster type so versatile when you don't know what situation you might be in while carrying..
Plus carries 1-2 spare clips if you want.
For 25 bucks you might try it out. I live in N East Ohio so this works for me..

Small world! Concealment Concepts is my fathers company. I personally handle the sales aspects (gun shows, etc) a friend of mine directed me to this forum and I just wanted to thank you for that glowing review. Being that we make and design all of these holsters, it means quite a bit when we hear people talking about how much they love them. Thank you! Hope to see you around the gun shows, stop by and say hello!
