Default M41 safety lever issue

I have a newer S&W M41. It was bought new last year. I have been having the common problem of the safety selector being knocked up by my thumb during firing. I have tried bending the tab that sits on the safety lever to provide additional tension but this only lasts for a short time.

Anyone have a permanent solution? I’d like to figure out how to pin it somehow.

Thanks

Vic
