3rd Gen grip stippling?
A few years ago there were two members on this forum who would stipple grips for a fee. The reoganization or whatever of the forum doesn't allow a search to go back far enough to retrieve that info.
Anybody recall who they are and how we can get in touch with them?
Thanks.

I just had a set of 3G grips stippled by Dave Powell at Powell's Custom Creations
He did an awesome job. His rate was cheap and I have been meaning to take pics but never got around to it. Check out his page and shoot him an email. He does real nice work.

Orangehole, thanks for the kind words. I am Dave Powell of Powells Custom Creations. I too wish I had taken some photos before I shipped out his grips. We agreed to stipple the smooth portions of the grip with a random pattern, while leaving the checkered portion. They turned out looking really nice while giving some real grip to the gun. Doing that kind of a grip runs $20 with $5 shipping if you supply the grip. If I am buying the grip, it is just a straight passthrough of the cost of the grip. I will be checking this thread or, email me if you have questions.
Thanks
-Dave

Hi Tony S45! Nice to "see" you around here.
I have had grip work done by member Big Dog. I would recommend you try him. He does great work at very reasonable prices. I'm not affiliated, just a VERY satisfied customer! Best regards, 18DAI

Hello, 18DAI:
I haven't been posting much the last few years. So busy in retirement that I can't remember how I ever found time to go to work those 45+ years; however, I make time to shoot weekly.
Thanks for your input on stippling because I wanted to give my business to a forum member. The S&W stock grip material is too slick for me.
Thanks to all posters. I hope the members read about your talented work and give you lots to do!
Regards,
Tony S45
