Default questions about target pistol aquisition

Greetings all,

I am new to pistols and especially S&Ws. I had the opportunity to purchase some old S&W target revolvers as well as an auto-loading 22 model 41. It was a time when I was not sure what exactly I was buying but my gut said to do so hopefully I will have no regrets.

The model 41 is a 5 digit 11XXX and has an almost perfect mirror blue finish. The pistol has Fritz accu-rizer grips that are made of a bakelite material. Does anyone happen to know if these are factory installed grips?

I apologize if this is a repeat question. I attempted searching for an answer but came up empty so I thought I would throw caution to the wind and ask my question. Thanks in advance.

Drew

Default Nope

Hi Drew,
Nope, not factory. I always liked the Fitz grips.
Sounds like a nice old 41.
Thanks
Mike

The 41 is a extremely fine gun and well sought after as well. You did yourself a favour by buying it as its probably the finest target gun in the world or close to it for sure. Usually they all came with the facory Walnut type grips which are excellent as well.
