Default 469 Grip Change

Just wanting to know if its possible to change the factory two piece grips on my 469 to the one piece newer 3rd gen. style grips and if so how is it done thanks for the advise Jeff

Jeff,yes it is possible....have a 469 wearing hogue wrap arounds for 6906.I stripped grips from 469 and 6906 and used cut off wheel to reshape frame of 469 to match 6906.You would be reshaping area at bottom rear of frame.Only took about 30 minutes.Refinished with Duracoat O.D.Green on frame and Flat Tactical Black on slide.I cant figure how to post pics but if you like i can e-mail pics.Purists will say BLASPHEMY but it is wife's EDC and she wanted the Hogue grips since gun is SO reliable.NEVER a malfunction of ANY kind,eats all ammo fed.Hell it even cycles EMPTY cases!!
