3913 trade good or bad?
A friend will trade me this 95% 3913 for my almost new M&P FS 9 even Steven. Good trade? I love that little third gen!

Around here, that would have been an OK trade. A MP9 goes for $425-$450 and a Nice 3913 with box goes around $425-$475.
So, you did okay price wise. But, I would have made the trade too. There are a million MP9's out there, but only so many really nice 3913's.

Great trade! The M&P has not been made yet, that is as good as a 3913. IMO of course. Good luck! Regards 18DAI

I sacrificed my 3913NL so my son could get the rifle of his present dreams (gun dreams are always changing). I am happy he got it and very happy to help him, but oh how I miss my 3913. I have the M&P9 and 22 and I'm very happy with both. I would get the 3913 and work on a M&P9 replacement later. Good luck and good shooting.

Polymer guns can be had all day, every day, everywhere. It's getting harder to find metal guns from ANY manufacturer anymore, for a fair price.
I would've already done the trade and be posting pics of my new 3913!

From our postings in other threads, I'm sure you know what I'm going to say, but here goes anyway.
DO IT now! The 3913 not only has what might be described as a cult following, it is well deserving of such a following. It is almost mystically good. Okay, okay, maybe a little overstated . . . but DO IT anyway!

I remember you saying that before, some of these guns are a little before my time as I'm only 36 and was a kid when most of these were available. The deal is done and I'm a proud owner of this sweetheart!

Congrats! Now scour the classifieds for a used M&P that someone is trying to sell to fund their Shield!

You did good! The 3913 also has a rep for being extremely accurate for its size! So much so that I read somewhere that they tend too OUTSHOOT their full size brothers! Dale

Last time I qualified with my 3913NL, I got a "whoa, cool!" from one of the SWAT cops a couple lanes down for the accuracy of this "little" 9... They are hot.
Enjoy! You won't regret the trade one bit.

Well done, Sir, well done. That is a great deal and a very nice 3913. I'm thinking the only one with buyers remorse from this deal will be your friend.
