2 6906's
First one I've had for 2 years. It arrived dirty and in need of recoil spring and mag spring replacement. Yesterday, while at the local gun store for ammo, I was browsing and this other 6906 was there waiting for me. Hardly used, with box, two mags, and papers for $425. Maybe a few bucks too high but I couldn't resist.
Just wanted to show 'em to you. I have a few questions I'll ask in another post.

I would likely have bought it for that. Congrats!

Nice find.
It may have been just a bit higher, but since it is in beautiful shape... it is a good buy in the longrun.

Quality is remembered log after price is forgotten. Nice clean 6906s are tough to find since most got a good beating from being carried.

With the price of magazines going through the roof, it's not all that high a price. Very nice.

2 6906's
The 6906 which has ser no. TDS68XX also has AO191 imprinted in three places on the slide and frame. The other 6906, ser no. TZR43XX, has nothing on that side . What does the AO191 signify? Can you tell their age?
Besides the black trigger and hammer on the first one, and the silver trigger and hammer (knurled too) on the second, I don't notice much difference between them
Thanks for your time and consideration.

It's probably a S/N assigned by the agency that owned it. Mine had CCXXXX, was a trade-in, I'm guessing CA Corrections or possibly CO.
