The article merely stated what many of us already knew - that the "shortage" is entirely artificial and caused by speculators, hoarders and panic buyers. No news there.

I attended a gun show in my city of residence, this past weekend. Plenty of ammo to be had, of all calibers, albeit at high prices. These were dealers who regularly attend gun shows - not just some flippers trying to hawk their "stash". Plenty of reloading components, as well.

Local gun shops (around here) are also experiencing a better supply situation, which I have seen personally.

So, my overall impression is that the supply situation is easing, at least around here. Prices are NOT moderating, however....and I expect never will.

I bought 2 bricks of CCI yesterday here in Canada and could have had cases more. They raised the price slightly but all of our stores have lots on hand. 1 brick of 40 gr was $35.00. That's 500 rounds.

Yesterday afternoon found 4 boxes of 300 Whisper & 1 box 300 AAC Blackout. Only thing they didn't have was 22LR...
