4506 Holsters

I recently purchased a S&W 4506 with the squared trigger guard. The first handgun I ever purchased was this same model and had always wanted another one. Now that I have it I am having the hardest time finding any holsters for this pistol. Does anyone know any companies that are currently making holsters for the 4506 with the square trigger guard? I am mostly looking for concealment type holsters.

Try Kramer Leather, Tucker Gun Leather. Blade-Teck makes Kydex, they are okay, I have seen better quality in some other brands. Also try S&W they should have a holster that will work for the 4506. BTW I have a Kramer that works for my 1076, 4566 and the 4506 will fit also.

Welcome to the forum. I'm looking for the same holster, a 4506 no dash with square trigger guard. On another thread I learned of Ed Rodek, a holster maker in Illinois. I am going to order one from him soon. Check out his website, he may have just the think you are looking for. His prices are really good too.

Safariland model 568 "custom fit" paddle holster, it has a wide list of applications for 3rd Gen's... it fits both the 4506 & 4506-1, I also use it for my 945-1.

@ Gunhacker, I have seen several sights that list both the 4506 and the 4506-1 but when I have contacted them before I jumped off and ordered one (again, learned that lesson the hard way) the answer is always the same, their holster only work with the round trigger guard.

I have a 4506-1 and had to modify a blackhawk serpa holster by cutting a notch for the slide release and it works great 2 yrs running now. Can't remember which holster it was for, but believe it was a sig. I have had nothing but good with blackhawk since I was in Iraq in 06 and 07.

High Noon Holsters make a couple for the 4506/645 both IWB and OWB. I also have a paddle holster by Aker that is quite comfortable. Jim.

Those of you who are looking for a Holster for a 4506 W/Square trigger guard. Contact ED RODEK At 217-532- 8836. He made me two great holsters. 1 for 4506-1 & 1 for 5906. These three slot holsters wear well as consealed.
