I have a S&W model 915 pistol in 9mm that I'd like to start carrying but my problem is finding any holsters for it. Are there any other more common pistols that might have about the same shape that would fit the same holsters as this gun? I currently carry a J frame and would like the option of carrying this pistol when it's colder and I have more clothes on. I would like to find a slim outside-the-waste-band holster that holds tight against my hip and is fairly concealable and doesn't cost a lot. I don't know if that's wishful thinking, but if there's something out there that anyone could recommend to me, it would make my day. Thanks!

Try the Don Hume J.I.T. leather belt slide. Size 5m fits the 39/59 series, and should fit your 915 just fine. They can be had on ebay or amazon for in the $25 range shipped.

I've had some 3rd gen holsters made by Tim Thurner of TT Gunleather. Phenomenal holsters, very reasonable for a custom holster compared to most, and the same with the turnaround time. I also have some Galco's which are good holsters for the money.

Should be easy enough to find....most any 5900 series S&W holster should do the job...ebay usually has many to choose from....buy the highest quality one you can afford and let it take good care of you.

Most holster companies websites have a holster compatability tool or list. As mentioned if you can't find a 915/910 holster look for a 59XX holster.

I ordered a Supertuck from Crossbreed for my S&W 439, They used a 3904 as the mold. It fits not only my single stack 439 but my double stack 459 (the 915 is an economy version of the 459) as well as my Beretta Nano. all very well
