3913 NL grip options

Hello all. Finally got a hold of a 3913 NL, which as you all know, came stock with the silver/gray grip.What I would like to do is find an OEM black grip to replace it with. I currently have a set of Hogues on it which is fine for now. A friend of mine had a grip from a regular 3913, but as I found out, is cut just a little different. Mag release and safety/decocker hits the cut-outs on that model grip. If anyone has one, or even knows if it is an option,please let me know. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Strange....... I've had 3913/14s and NLs since the early 90s....... all factory and Hogue grips are interchangeable..... I'm talking..... 5-6 guns and maybe 10-12 sets of factory and Hogue wood and rubber grips.......

Could you have a DOA grips???

There should be no difference between 3913 and NL version grips. I took off the light gray grips for some Hogues, feels much better in my hand. The plastic is thinner, but not by much.

Hey Bam-Bam. I never even thought about the DAO possibility. I'll have to ask the person that let me try theirs on and see if thats the case. I guess that might explain why the safety would hit the top of the grip when in the safe position. Maybe they might be cut a little different on the top of the grip.Just has me a little baffled. Thought they would be a universal fit. I'll post back as soon as I get an answer. Thanks for the responses.
