Default 945 trigger adjustment?

Hello everybody,
I have searched for this topic if 945 trigger can be adjusted to shorter travel online but no information available.

I looked through the owner's manual and no information about trigger travel adjustment.

Please point me some information if anybody knows about it.

Greatly appreciated,

ak

Depending on the model, the overtravel adjustment screw is usually in the trigger and an allen wrench is used to adjust. If there is no allen screw visible in the trigger then it may not have an overtravel stop.

There is no pre-travel adjustment on the 945, only over-travel. Screw down the allen screw in the trigger till the hammer fails to fall, then from the fall/no fall point back off a 1/4 turn. Some 1911 triggers allow for pre-travel but the 945 is a hybrid and I'm not sure 1911 triggers fit them.

These are not 1911s and they went through several models and variations. I would call S&W and ask them.
