Default model 41 with British proof marks

Any information on a 1959 Model 41 with a light weight 5 inch barrel with British proof marks in a green fitted case. The local gun dealer just received the gun from and doesn't know much about it. The gun is in 98% condition.

Welcome to the forum.
Pictures always help.
Not much to go on so all I can say is, the proof marks indicates the gun had a holiday in Britain. The box will be aftermarket.
I have a couple of 41s with these proof marks. nothing special at all.

The Brits generally marked them up with heavy punches and several notations. If now in USA, should show importer's stamp. Interest is more by people like me that likes the "odd" stuff and the actual "collector" stuff. Value would generally at or less than unmarked unit at same condition
