A brand new unfired in the box blued 908, with all papers and docs, just sold locally for $400.

It looks like you've got a Zander's two-tone version there which could cause it to bring some extra dollars over an all-black 908. On the other hand, cosmetic condition appears from the photos to be no better than average for a used/carried value line 3rd Gen and we don't know how many magazines to consider or whether or not you have the original box and papers to go with it. Could be as low as $250-$300 (assuming no box, no spare magazines) or possibly quite high with extra magazines, the original box and the right buyer looking to add the Zander's two-tone version to his or her 3rd Gen collection.

Values are very much affected by region/locale. I sold a used one, good condition, three weeks ago. I had one P-Mag, and two original 908 mags, no box or holster. I got $375 for it, which I thought was a bit high.

I am sure your gun operates very well. It does not appear to be in "excellent" condition, though is a bit nicer than the one I sold.

Good luck selling it.

A local, very high volume, LGS has had one listed in blue with 1 magazine for $450.00. Which I think is a lot of money unless it's in pristine condition with box and accessories.

Even in MA, as listed it's a $350-400.00 gun. In other parts of the country, $350.00 would likely be about right.

The SCSW talks about the Zander 457 and estimates that there is a premium for them. From the few I've seen for sale, that estimate is optimistic.

3rd Gens with stainless slides seems to go for more than the blue black or two toned versions.

That's just my overall impression from what I've seen.

No box on that one and I sincerely doubt that Carl set that price. It's obviously a consignment gun.

I paid $300+Tax for an "as-new" Model 908 in original box (although box was damaged) with one magazine last October. If it's worth $450 now, I want to sell it!

908's are fairly abundant on Gunbroker, and I would estimate one in this condition would sell in the $300-$425 range. I don't see many of the factory 2-tones though, and it's possible someone would pay more for that.

I think you need to reevaluate your definition of "excellent condition". The 908 is a lower cost version of the 3913. I'm sure your gun works fine, but $400 would be high for that gun. I wouldn't give more than $300.
