Brinks 4046 TSW
I recently bought a Brinks trade in gun for a decent price from a local gun shop. They had a table of them with all mostly holster wear and really dirty. I really can’t find much information on these, they seam to be less popular.

I been bidding on a few Brinks 5946 TSW's on Gun Broker but have yet to win ( I still high bidder on one right now). The 5946 and 4046 are double action only guns, they are great guns but the younger crowd doesn't seem to like the DAO triggers so they don't sell well. I grew up on the DA/SA triggers in the 80's and 90's so they don't bother me even in DAO. One of my most favorite handguns ever is my Beretta 92D Centurion super smooth DAO trigger.

I bought a Brinks M5946TSW not long ago at a gun show . The guy that puts on the show has more than a few stores in Fl , and likes to buy these kind of guns . I was early and got a clean version . When I first saw their emblem on the side I thought they were from PD's motorcycle division . I was wondering , does S&W put it on there , or is it aftermarket ? I would think as many as they buy , it would be lucrative .

I purchased one from the gun show in Orlando not too many months ago at a great price. It took a lot of cleaning but it was in excellent condition overall. I replaced the springs, got a stainless guide rod for the recoil spring, and installed a set of Hogue grips and it is an excellent pistol. The night sights even have some life left in them. It feeds and fires like a dream.
Hope you enjoy it!
