How about some pics?
I just bought one in really nice shape that apparently was made in 1981. It's still in gun jail as we speak, but hopefully it'll be home in time to be my Christmas present to me.
Poking around online I don't see a lot of info or videos on these guns. Considering that it was the first true "wondernine" on the market there should be more interest in them, but I guess people only pay attention to the modern TactiCool ones. I just bought a used SIG P226 as well, and in doing some research I was amazed by how many ex-Navy SEALs are out there posting on Internet forums and creating videos on YouTube.
