Got a Pre-39 that I picked up from an estate sale. Thinking about selling it to finance another project. I posted some earlier pix when I picked it up. Saw some gunbroker auctions with some guns that are in about the same condition as mine that they wanted $1700 for. That's crazy!!! For a quick sale, I was wondering what a good ballpark figure would be to sell it quick? Not looking to screw anyone over, and was really wondering what they are going for. Of course it is only worth what someelse is willing to pay for it. I figure this is 90-95%?

This is out of my element so I don't know prices. However, I've kind of been thinking about buying one and have been watching a couple on GoBroker.com at $1,799 and $1,299 and they just keep rolling over with no bidders. Do you have a picture of the other side?
Regards,
Kevin Williams

Here is the other side. It's got a few little nicks on the alloy frame and there is a light rub on the top of the slide. Not bad for being a 50+ old gun. It had been sitting in a drawer for a few years...

Very nice. Please shoot me a PM or email if/when you decide to sell it.

I've seen them SELL in the $650-$900 range, but one was mint with a box, the other was better than 95%. But I haven't seen any sold in the last year, say they may have gone up some.

That is a very nice pre 39. This model is sought after, especially since yours looks to have the original grips, short safety etc. I would say value is in the $1000 range +/- $100. I wish I had estate sales around here where stuff like this showed up!
