Default Those hated CSX magazine sleeves.

As for the sliding grip sleeves, I found a solution on Youtube.
I have modified at least 9 of my 12rd CSX mags and so far the fix is working perfectly.
First the video showing how to secure the sliding sleeve to the baseplate.
The pertinent portion of the video begins a the 5:00 mark.

Second I tried using standard Superglue initially and it just would not get a good bond on the type of plastic used on the sleeve or baseplate. Then I discovered another video that suggested Loctite Superglue For Plastic, this is a 2 part Primer/Glue and it has worked perfectly.

https://www.loctiteproducts.com/en/p...ingsystem.html

I remove the sleeve and baseplate and then glue them into a single unit. After letting the "unit" stay lightly clamped in a vise for 24 hours, I remove the rear portion of the sleeve flush with the end of the baseplate with a cutoff wheel on low speed in a Dremel. The removal of the rear portion of the sleeve allows you to install and remove the now united baseplate/sleeve assembly as needed for maintenance.

I sanded the parts a little with 120 grit. Then used Gorilla super glue. Same result. Works great.
I am amazed that S&W released these with the floppy terrible mag sleeve.
