Starting a holster thread for CSX owners, since I'm discovering I generally like non-CSX holsters better.

Starting with a DeSantis Nemesis, made for the Glock G26. Works pretty well, while retention was tight on the G26, with the CSX it's a little looser and easier to use. The muzzle does stick out a little tho.

This Tege IWB for the Glock 43 fits well, retention force is constant thru insertion and draw, and very smooth. There is a tab that protrudes at the top, I might trim that off some.

Got this Foxtrot (made for the CSX) on Ebay. Fit is kind of loose, retention is a solid final click that is so firm it makes the gun hard to draw. I tried adjusting the tension... if the screw is at the point of falling out then it is not quite as hard, but then there is still the loose fit. I really prefer the Tege.

I've had this "Barsony leather slide", made for a 1911, for a while. It is amazingly versatile, even usably fits J-frames. As a crossdraw the CSX slides right in and stays put.

Leather for the Sig 938 fits the CSX very well. I make my own kydex stuff, but I did make a Kahr MK9 holster fit my CSX with a heat gun, and it came out perfect.

I am kind of partial to Kydex for working/daily carry holsters and my usual source, Custom Kydex Holsters | On Your 6 Designs had both an IWB and OWB design that works very well. I was also looking for a simple low profile belt slide holster that would compliment the very compact CSX. I found that CrossBreed made a hybrid holster called the SnapSlide for the CSX and it works ok and it is certainly a low profile holster that compliments the size of the CSX, but it has the strange habit of working it's way around back further than I like throughout the day (strange). I finally found, Made in USA Premium Leather Holsters, Belts & Accessories – Bullard Leather Mfg. and placed an order for their custom leather belt slide.

I have a DeSantis Nemesis Holster-Sig P230 232/Walther PPK for pocket carry, and a We the People iwb Kydex for appendix carry. My DeSantis Diehard ankle holster for my S&W 380 Bodyguard with laser, fits the CSX like it was made for it. They all work great.

Any recommendations for an OWB high rise holster? I’m in California. Won’t say I’m paranoid about exposing the pistol, but something I’d rather avoid.

I currently have a 2A Holster, which is great. The bottom of the CSX’s barrel is right about even with the bottom of the belt. And I appreciate the easy on/off tabs. Excellent retention.

I need a new holster, as I just bought a Crimson Trace Laserguard for the CSX. It appears 2A Holster is currently not accepting orders, in the process of being transferred to Larry Vickers?

Something similar to my existing 2A holster would be ideal.

Thank you.

Just received this high rise holster from Side Guard Holsters, model "High Slide." It accommodates the Crimson Trace Laserguard attached to the trigger guard.

I did have to send the CT laser to Side Guard for fitting, returned to me with the finished holster. That's okay...I'm happy they were willing to make this non-standard holster for me, no extra charge.

I am always reevaluating my holster choices for my EDC firearms. Since late last summer, I have been carrying the CSX all day, everyday and I have come to appreciate the CSX's ergonomics & firepower in such a small package.
With the small size of the CSX, it just doesn't make any sense to me, to wrap it in a bulky holster. I typically carry IWB in a Kydex holster but with getting older I occasionally have to switch to OWB due to hip issues.
Enter the Don Hume J.I.T. Slide holster. I have used J.I.T. Slides for other pistols over the years and find them to be very high quality and quite affordable. While Don Hume does not have a J.I.T. Slide listing for the CSX, after a bit of research and size comparison on Handgun Hero (very helpful), I decided to order a J.I.T. Slide for the Sig 938. As received, the CSX could be forced into the JIT Slide but it was just too tight to be usable. However, after liberally spraying the interior of the tightly formed leather holster with a spray liquid silicone (not the greasy silicone spray) and then inserting the bagged pistol, (CSX inside a heavy ziploc sandwich baggie), for a couple days, the CSX now fits perfectly.
I will start working with the holster tomorrow, doing dry fire draws, until the interior of the holster is properly burnished.
Just another option for CSX fans to consider.

Re:my first post, I eventually got a Nemesis specifically for the CSX and like it better than the G26 one.

These Tagua holsters suit my CSX's dang good. With & without optic.
