23 round Smith & Wesson magazine spring failure

tried to search threads but couldn't find any relevant information, hence my post here.

I have a 2023 Spec Series and FPC, both 9mm and came 23 round magazines (4 total). However 2 of my magazines had spring failures. Tried to add photos, but unable. Failed springs are tin-like metal and broke in 3 and 8 pieces respectively.

After 1/1/2025, I'll call S&W for warranty replacements (they are closed until then), but has anyone else have magazine spring failures?

Also, where can I get replacement springs that are stronger than S&W OEM springs? (about 8" or 20 mm)

Broken magazine spring

One of my 23 round magazines had the spring break into 4 pieces after only a few uses. Searching for new springs now.
 
I'm guessing that the spring manufacturer that has the contract to make them for S&W heat treated them poorly and made the too brittle. I would specifically request replacements from a new lot if they have them available. I would hope that by now they are ware of the issue.
 
Wow. I just got a couple of them two or three weeks back but only loaded them up and put them away for the next range trip. I'll have to keep a closer eye on them.

Has anyone figured out why the M&P 10mm 2.0 has so many problems? Mine still pukes loaded rounds out the ejection port straight out of the magazine.
