Greetings,
I would like to make the 5906 magazine base pad flush. Any ideas?
I don't have the pistol at this moment so I can't really see for myself.
Perhapse buy some extra base pads and file them down?
I'd appreciate any ideas.
Thank you
Take care

KCabbage,
I have seen a First or Second Generation double stack 9 m.m. with a metal base pad on the mag.
But, I do not know the exact model number that it was.
Models 59, 459, 559, 659, 469, and 669 had the metal base on the mag.
They are out there.
Also a Marlin Camp-9 Carbine mag will do the trick also.
Someone will chime in, I'm sure.
Regards,
BM1

Hey, thanks Badman. You gave me a great place to start looking.
Just curious, have you tried the Camp-9 pad on the Smiths?
Thanks again
Take care

For whatever it's worth, my Sig 226 mags are identical to my 5906's. The magazine release notch is different between the two though. Both of mine use Meggar's.

KCabbage,
No, I have not, I will have to try and see.
But, The Marlin Camp-9 magazines are interchangeable - 10, 14, 15, 20, 30 and 32 rounders.
