Here is a chart from Gun Tests in 1999 comparing the HK P7 M8 with the Glock 19, 19C and 3953 TSW.
This article clears up some mis-information concerning the accuracy of the HK P7. There are people on the internet that are saying that the HK P7 series is more accurate than every other pistol out there.
HK P7's are indeed great pistols and very accurate for their size but they will NOT out do a Smith and Wesson Performance Center semi-auto firearm.
I have seen claims of 1/2" groupings (at 25 yards) from the HK however the evidence doesn't support the claim.
The best groupings produced from the HK was 1.5" inches with the average coming in at 2.3" inches for all ammunition.

Here is the URL that has links to other tests. Very interesting.

Also, I am shocked to see the 3953 TSW come in at less than 2" inches at 25 yards.
To this day, I have never seen a magazine test come in at better than .70" inches produced from the 952.
