10,000 Post Karma

A very generous Karma, thank you and thanks for the wisdom of your many contributions here.
My son is graduating Forestry school soon and is a fan of classic knives. A Buck folder would make a very nice gift for him.

Let me add my congratulations on the 10K posts and the excellent karma offering. Since I already have more knives (or is it knifes) than an LA street gang,I will decline entry in the hopes that someone who truly needs it is chosen as the winner.

I feel I should be offering YOU something. Youre a big reason its always a pleasure to keep coming back here.
Thanks for the entertainment and the generous Karma.
Count me in!

Shoot, I can't even count to 10.000. I know, I tried once. I got confused and lost count at twenty-one, when I ran out of fingers and toes and...well, let's just say other appendages one might count. So twenty-one was it.

At any rate I lost count and got distracted by a shiny object or a picture of a cat or a puppy on the internet. Maybe the kind with the cute sayings made to look like a poster like we used to put on our walls back in the seventies. I don't really remember the particulars.

Remember the seventies? They were pretty cool. Interesting the music back then. From great stuff like the Motown recordings and Led Zep and Jim Croce and the best of Merle Haggard and George Jones to the awful beginnings of disco. John Prine to KC and the Sunshine Band. What the heck was that all about? From the sublime to the ridiculous, the seventies were. And the Bicentennial. That was a big deal. Tall ships in the harbor, fireworks, parades. Gas wars.

So sure, I'm all over the karma thing. Just so happens I left the gas cap for my truck at the Racetrack the other day and need a new one. Ten thousand posts and a gas cap karma. Only you could come up with that!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Shoulda, you make this place a better place. Frankly it's people like you that justify the internet. And THAT is sincere, my friend.
