10-5 4” round butt comes home

Won this pretty clean 4" that left the factory in April 1970 according to Dr. Jinks.

Non matching stocks and a little wear on the side plate.

I don't think it's been shot much at all.

I have a 4" RB from February 1957.

I have a 4" RB from around 1923 when they were a bit more common. Great fit and balance.

That was my brother's first issued duty weapon when he joined the M.P.D.C. (Wash D.C.) police force in 1970. I always liked that round butt !!
Later as a detective, he carried a M&P 2" bbl 4 screw until he got "Glocked" in 1985

I used to have my dad's 2" nickle he carried when off duty back in the day. I've already given that gun to my youngest son.

I really wasn't looking for this gun but a buddy called me and wanted to know if I wanted in on a board he was running.

So I said sure….he said he had 12 squares left so I said give me all 12….total cost $60

The only other gun I've won on his boards was a H&R model 732.
