I just picked up another Model 10-7 with the tapered barrel. The S/N is: 8D94083 and on the butt next to the S/N is the Century Arms International import mark. Also, on the underside of the frame ahead of the trigger guard is JF3101. Although the grips look pretty rough, they number to the frame. Any clues as to where this revolver was shipped off to?

It seems to me that CAI imported a bunch of those back from Australia.
X-police issue in Australia.

Batches come from all over and Century rarely discloses where they come from. Recent batches have come from Jordan and Malaysia, and probably several others. A letter might help, it might not. Kind of an expensive gamble on a well used Model 10.

I just figured somebody might have an idea where & when this 10-7 was shipped to by the serial number/batch. A $300 shooter isn't worth a letter. I'll just go with the Australian angle & that it belonged to Matt Quigley. That's my story & I'm sticking to it!

I bet your "JF" is a JP light strike and that the revolver was probably issued to Officer Abdul in Amman.
