I can imagine the flash just inches away from my face but will a 10 inch barrel make any velocity? I like my Colt 7.62x39 but the barrel is 16 inches. I see some used Sigs in this caliber. Would it be useless, almost?
I think those pistols are useless, blast flash and LOUD But it is still shooting a 30 caliber bullet, What use they have is well you know spray and pray. I thought about a 5.56 pistol but again Why? Unless you are into those things.
You don't loose much velocity in 7.62x39. Going from 16 inches to 8 - 10 inches only looses about 200fps.
I can't speak for pistols but my SBR has no problem keeping shots center mass on a man size target at 300 yards. It wont win bullseye competition and if you want to make one little hole all day this isn't the one for you but, practical self defense accuracy is more than adequate.
But like I said I don't own a pistol. Mine is a short barrel rifle and it's an AK so that means bullets just fall out for most people
(All black is 7.62)
2nd pic is without a flash hider. With the flash hider on you can't see the flame.
See these black circles hanging? They are steel plates at 200 yards. I have no problem ringing them all day long
Good to know. Can't see how you can shoot with that kind of accuracy off hand with such course sights. Hard enough with some scoped rifles.
Anyone have one of the Sig arm brace 7.62 x 39?
I don't fund them bad. No different than most sights from the 1st half of the 20th century. Notch and post. Besides I don't try to get little groups, it's not the point of this rifle. And I despise bench shooting. Every time I see a bench I want to burn it to the ground[emoji91] [emoji1] .
Read up on the new arm brace "law" I believe you cannot shoulder it anymore. It has to be off your shoulder. Now what you do is your problem
