10 round mags

Can I get a 10 round mag for my M&P15 or are they all 20s that have been converter? i have google searched and found them on EBay but they look to be converted. I may get by with a 20 shooting off my rest but would rather have a 10. I hope to not have to chamber one and pull the mag everytime. Don

10 Round PMAGs are everywhere. I got some from Primary Arms for 9.99/ea on sale.

Not sure what you mean by converted, do you know what a 10 and 20 actually look like?
Mags can't be over 10rnds on ebay anywho.

No I have never used or seen a 10 round. I used 20s and 30s in the Navy but never seen a 10. I understand some states require them but was told they were just 20s modified so you could only put 10 in them. That is not a help I want a shorter length for bench rest shooting.

I like Cabela's but sometimes their prices are high. The same with Gander Mountain. Don't get me wrong, if I have an excuse to go to either store, I will.
 
I have a couple of MagPul 10 rounders. Gen3. Got 'em at my LGS. They are nice to have when shooting from a bench and a sandbag rest.
 
I only have experience with P-mags which I've never had a problem with of course I only use 30 round mags so can't compare to the 10 0r 20 and don't know anything about Thermold mags.

I have 2 10 rounders for my AR. They are real 10 rounders, not shortened 20 rounders. Got them because I hunted with my AR last year and here in Missouri you can not have more than 10 in the mag and 1 in the barrel when hunting.

Never thought of that but it sure is a good point. When a friend decided a mag dump would be fun it would be a short one.

I like only loading the number of rounds I plan on shooting for a group. To many things to think about then counting rounds fired. Heck on a 5 round group I might end up with 4 or maybe even 7 if I loaded 30. Guess I need to buy a spotting scope next as at my age I don't like long walks to the target. Darn where does the buying end? Don
 
Never mag dump someone else's rifle without permission. It's rude and liable to make it so other firearms are not lent to you to try in the future.

I've got one or two 10rd magpul for each AR...... unless TSHTF or we have TEOTWAWKI...... they are the most useful mags I own........
