10mm Large Pistol Primer shell holder ? answered.

I didn't want to drift off of the other 10mm primer thread but I do have a question.

I just got into the 10mm. I bought Starline brass and it is for large pistol primers. I purchased a set of Lee Carbide Combination Dies for 40/10mm. The issue is that the dies come with a small pistol primer shell holder. When I look online at Lee or even a retailer like MidwayUSA, I don't see an option for a 10mm large pistol primer shell holder.

I sent an email to Lee, but I thought I would see if any of you had ran into this and what you did.

I don't think I've ever seen a primer-size specific shell holder, but I don't have any Lee ones, either. As long as the center hole is big enough to allow the primer through easily it should be good.

Hole in the shell holder is the same for both L and S. The seating punches will differ.

Or, why not just prime them off the press...?

Thanks Guys,

I knew that I had not seen of lpp vs spp shell holder, but for my life last night, I could not get it to work. BTW, using a RCBS hand priming tool.

Came in today after work and re installed it, works like a charm. Must have been working with it too late last night. LOL.
