Just curious, but what are you using for a target/practice load for your 10MM autos? I have found a load of 6.0 grains of Bullseye with a 155 RNFP plated slug works well for me so far. I have more manuals and computer programs than I know what to do with, but wanted to see what is going on in the real world. Thanks for inputs.

I have only the Lyman 401638 bullet available, which I use with W231/HP38. The bullet is normally powdercoated, rather than lubed. Weighs around 175 grains. They go right around 1100 FPS, so not a full-charge 10mm by any means, but accurate and pleasant to shoot, and shouldn't be too hard on the guns. That's my "real world." I'd like to have a 200 grain bullet to experiment with, but really there is no sense in throwing around 25 grains more lead just to poke holes in stuff that means me no harm.

I do like to use Lee's push-through sizing die after I've loaded the cases a couple times. It's probably not necessary, but it makes my ammo fit my gage every time, so it's worth an extra few minutes to me. It also makes loading them on the 550 much smoother - practically effortless.

I've been using Remington 180 grain FMJ...works quite well..accurate...only somewhat more recoil than a 230 grain .45 ACP. It does throw a nice fireball...I would expect loads for more serious "social work" would have some flash suppressant added.

Also have some Winchester 175 grain Silvertips for the 10mm, some more 180 grain S&B and maybe some others but I haven't shot them yet.

My go to is 170 gr, Missouri Bullets IDP #2 Hi-Tek, over Accurate No. 5.
Accurate gives charge weights in their online handloading guide.

Lee copy of Lymans 401043, 175 gr tc, powder coated over WC 820.(AA9 Equivalent)

For range fun I like to use Power Pistol. Works well with anything from 145gn to 180gn bullets. For serious fun nothing beats Longshot, Bluedot and AA#9.
